Elite coaches, the Club will be going
with a new Elite logo and uniform kit (either Adidas or
Nike) starting with the Fall '09 season. In view of that, teams -
especially those newly formed teams for '08-'09 - can choose to go
with a less expensive interim uniform kit from Challenger as opposed
to the current Diadora Valido kit. Newly formed teams can go with
the Valido kit if they prefer.
Beginning with play
in Fall of 2009, all Elite teams will be required to wear whatever
uniform kit (either Adidas or Nike) selected by the Club.
The price list for the Challenger kit is as follows: Basic
kit: $44 (includes a green and white knit jersey, shorts
and one pair of socks, all screenprinting/numbering, and all
applicable taxes) Individual item prices: green
jersey - $13
shorts - $8
white conflict jersey - $15
socks - $2.50
You can still order a hoodie for $22 from Performance Activewear
and Challenger is also offering a pair of poly warm-up pants for
$23, which includes the Elite logo and the player's uniform number.
Carroll will have more information on these.
We do not have a specific order form for the Challenger kit, but
instead we will use the basic three-part form that we have used for
our rec uniform orders. Unfortunately, that form is no longer
posted on the Club website, but there will be a supply of them at
the Club offices for you to fill out when you show up. If any of
your individual players come in to try on any items for size, it
will be their responsibility to convey their sizing information to
you for your team order. Carroll will not be in a position to keep
a record of individual sizes.
Returning teams should have already received a communication
regarding the Diadora Valido uniform orders.
